Overview Hussmann's Internship Program provides meaningful, real-life experiences while working as a solutions leader in the food retailing industry. Hussmann interns receive competitive compensation, participate in community stewardship, network with company leadership, and learn about career opportunities available at Hussmann. As a Marketing Intern in the 2027 Hussmann Summer Internship Program, you will gain experience and insight into the day in the life of a marketing professional. You will work across the organization to ensure messages are being delivered accurately to Hussmann customers in compliance with brand standards. Responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, customer communications, and sales enablement materials. Create and update marketing content including presentations, brochures, digital assets, social media content, and promotional materials. Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to assist with graphic design, content creation, and production projects. Partner with marketing managers and cross-functional teams to support product launches, customer events, trade shows, and strategic marketing initiatives. Help coordinate marketing projects and ensure content and deliverables are completed on schedule. Network with senior leaders, associates, and other program interns to learn about our organization. Tour Hussmann's 1.6 million square foot manufacturing facility, our Global Hub for hosting customers, and the R&D Lab where we test product quality. Participate in community stewardship outreach, career development events, and other team-building offsite events. Compete in the annual Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Ideation & Innovation Challenge : Throughout the twelve-week program, all Hussmann interns will divide into cross-functional teams and compete with one another for the Hussmann Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Working with Hussmann mentors and leaders, you and your team will identify a solution to a provided problem statement. At the end of the summer, you’ll present your team’s business proposal to a panel of judges, executive leaders, and the organization – and possibly create a roadmap for Hussmann’s next great innovation. Qualifications Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree Minimum 3.0 GPA Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong attention to detailHighly motivated and eager to learn Strong computer skills Ability to relocate, if not local The summer internship will run from the third week of May through the first week of August. These dates may be changed to meet the needs of the student.
