• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and behavioral challenges, focusing on mood disorders and relational dynamics.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address specific conditions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance treatment engagement.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress during therapy sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary coordination of care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for holistic client support.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously refine therapeutic approaches.

As an LMFT with River Way Mental Health Services, you will work primarily with adult individuals and couples facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients are seeking meaningful, supportive therapeutic relationships to help navigate their emotional hurdles and achieve personal growth.

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building secure and trusted relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude, crucial for addressing clients' experiences and challenges.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
