Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive consultations with interdisciplinary team members to discuss client needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to carry out age-appropriate assessments and interventions, ensuring a personalized treatment plan for every client.
\n
• Lead parent support groups focused on relevant mental health challenges, with a particular emphasis on dealing with issues of placement and adoption for prenatally substance-exposed children.
\n
• Perform developmental evaluations of children to identify specific therapeutic needs and monitor progress over time.
\n
• Plan and facilitate training sessions for a range of stakeholders, including clients, social workers, attorneys, judges, educators, and other mental health professionals, promoting collaborative care strategies.

• Provide individual therapy sessions for clients to address personal and relational issues while tracking therapeutic progress through documented assessments.
\n
• Develop therapeutic resources and materials that support clients in their journey towards mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your practice will include working with couples and families dealing with various relational and emotional challenges. You will also provide individual therapy aimed at adults, children, and adolescents, adeptly addressing the unique dynamics within family structures. Your work will focus on issues such as trauma, behavioral issues, and mental health disorders, ensuring that each client receives the specialized care they require.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• At least 2 years of experience working with diverse populations and in varied therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
