Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Alarm Systems in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s licence in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards; report observations and complete required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Assist with access control, visitor direction, and support for opening, closing, and high-traffic retail operations as assigned. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s licence is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
