As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus, building interiors, access points, perimeter, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access control points and verify authorization in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports. Assist with maintaining a professional presence at a high-availability technology location while following applicable post orders, communications protocols, and client requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
