About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the Greater Atlanta chapter. This role is pivotal in serving as the primary community-facing leader, with a focus on community relations and fundraising. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the organization's presence and recognition in the community, leading collaborative planning, and stewarding strategic relationships to achieve regional program, revenue, and volunteer engagement goals. The Executive Director will also be expected to lead the chapter in supporting the achievement of the region's revenue targets, meet individual fundraising goals, and actively participate in fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' related experience, with a strong background in fundraising, donor engagement, and revenue generation. Key responsibilities include community leadership, chapter planning, and regional framework participation. The role requires a visionary leader who can build relationships, mobilize resources, and inspire collective action. The Executive Director will also be involved in board governance, volunteer leadership, and team member partnerships. While not mandatory, a strong connection to the local community, familiarity with local networks, and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) skills are considered a competitive edge. The position demands a candidate with the ability to work on a team, and operational flexibility to meet the organization's needs.
