Work Environment

This full-time position is conducted onsite within our modern outpatient office dedicated to providing quality rehabilitation services. Our facility is designed to foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for both our patients and staff. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance while supporting the diverse needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to each patient, assessing their unique goals and needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure quality time and attention is given to every individual in a supportive environment.
• Leverage expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at enhancing patients' functional mobility while minimizing reliance on surgical interventions and medications.
• Design and adjust comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's progress.
• Create specialized fitness and wellness programs aligned with the personal aspirations and rehabilitation goals of your clients.
• Motivate and encourage patients through encouragement and education during their treatment journey, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Document and track the effectiveness of treatments and patient progress, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date using EMR software.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a varied patient population, focusing on individuals requiring rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-operative care, and chronic pain management. Your work will directly facilitate improved physical function and overall wellbeing for patients of all ages, helping them return to their optimum activity levels.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clear history and no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional skills in design, implementation, and modification of exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient and accurate patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current research and best practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on sports therapy and rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in patient management and building strong, therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your professional and personal well-being.
