Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Chantilly, Virginia. Our clinic operates in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, where teamwork and professional development are encouraged. The facility is designed to accommodate various treatment modalities and is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools to assist in patient recovery. We offer a structured work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individualized physical therapy care, addressing the unique goals, needs, and aspirations of each patient.
• Managing a designated patient load, ensuring quality time is dedicated to each individual to facilitate effective treatment.
• Applying your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of conditions.
• Utilizing cost-effective therapeutic techniques to optimize clients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Encouraging non-surgical intervention strategies to reduce dependency on medications.
• Formulating comprehensive care plans implementing various treatment modalities and therapeutic exercises.
• Creating customized fitness and wellness programs suited to patients' specific recovery objectives.
• Motivating patients through their rehabilitation journey by fostering a supportive environment.
• Collaborating effectively with fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Continuously evaluating patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting outcomes meticulously.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain syndromes, and mobility impairments. Our diverse patient demographic includes athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals recovering from surgeries who seek to regain strength and control in their daily lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, devoid of any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based physical therapy techniques and ongoing professional development in the field.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training in orthopedic therapy or sports rehabilitation will be given preference. Proficiency in performing advanced therapeutic modalities and engagement in continuing education related to physical therapy will differentiate applicants.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
