Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, adapting approaches to ensure optimal patient engagement and recovery.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and training, to address a diverse array of conditions.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to exchange insights and improve treatment strategies, actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, therapy techniques, and at-home exercises to facilitate ongoing progress outside of sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring quality care that aligns with physician recommendations.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of business objectives, including patient satisfaction metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Sutter Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current State license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills, familiar with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
