Acquisitions Specialist – Insurance Sales

Ken Brown State Farm is seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Specialist to join our high-performing agency. This is a sales-dominant position built for someone who enjoys pursuing opportunities, closing business, and being rewarded for results. We're looking for a true sales professional—a confident communicator who can build rapport quickly, uncover needs, overcome objections, and ask for the business. This is a licensing-contingent position. You do not need to be licensed to apply. Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date. Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting. We provide study resources, guidance, and full support throughout the licensing process.

What You'll Do:

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, warm leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to uncover risks, priorities, and insurance needs.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and move opportunities from initial conversation to closed business.
• Confidently handle objections and ask for the sale.
• Cross-sell multiple product lines to help customers build more complete protection.
• Develop relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Track sales activity and consistently work toward individual and agency production goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable agency and regulatory requirements.
