Our menus reflect this attention to bringing nutritious, delicious food to those who need it most.Position OverviewThe Sales Coordinator is an entry-level role that keeps our sales and business development engine organized and moving. You will provide the administrative backbone for an experienced sales team, handling the coordination, data, and follow-through that let our senior sellers focus on clients and growth. You will work closely with and learn directly from our CEO and Biz Dev Manager, gaining hands-on exposure to how enterprise dining and catering accounts are won and grown.This is a strong fit for someone early in their career or changing careers into sales. We are looking for a candidate who is:Highly organized, reliable, and detail-orientedEager to learn sales and business development from the ground upComfortable owning administrative work that keeps a team on trackA clear communicator who follows through without being chasedThe ideal candidate brings energy and coachability, takes ownership of the details, and wants to grow into a client-facing sales or account role over time.ResponsibilitiesSales Administration & Coordination (35%)Keep the sales process organized and running day to day.Prepare and format proposals, quotes, menus, and contracts for reviewMaintain the team's sales calendar and schedule client and prospect meetingsOrganize sales collateral, templates, and shared files so they are easy to findEnter and track sales activity and orders accurately across our systemsCoordinate clean handoffs from sales to operations, culinary, and account managementCRM & Pipeline Support (25%)Keep our client and prospect data accurate and useful.Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM (HubSpot), logging calls, activities, and next stepsKeep pipeline data clean so reporting reflects realityRun and format sales reports and help track team KPIs and targetsFlag follow-ups, renewals, and at-risk items to the senior teamClient & Prospect Support (20%)Support responsive, professional communication with clients and prospects.Respond to inbound inquiries and route them to the right personSupport outreach by scheduling calls, sending follow-up materials, and confirming detailsHelp coordinate tastings, sample drop-offs, and event logisticsPrepare menus and pricing for the sales team and answer routine client questionsLearning & Development (10%)Grow toward a client-facing sales or account role.Shadow the CEO and Biz Dev Manager on calls, meetings, and pitchesTake notes, capture action items, and complete follow-upsBuild product, menu, and market knowledge over timeCross-Functional & General Support (10%)Support the broader team as priorities require.Coordinate with operations, culinary, and account management on shared workAssist with catering and event support as neededTake on additional administrative duties that help the sales team succeedRequired Qualifications0 to 2 years of professional experience, or equivalent transferable experience from another fieldHighly organized with strong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft OfficeGenuine eagerness to learn sales and business developmentA commitment to personal accountability and continuous learningAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsInterest in food service, hospitality, or sustainabilityFamiliarity with a CRM platform (HubSpot preferred)Experience with project management software (Asana preferred)Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceKey CompetenciesOrganization and follow-throughClear and proactive communicationEagerness to learn and coachabilityReliability and ownershipCross-functional collaborationRole DetailsTitle: Sales CoordinatorJob Type: Full-time, Hourly, HybridLocation: New York CitySchedule: Monday through Friday.
