Schedule: 40 hours per week. Full benefits! Primary Responsibilities Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the supervisor. Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift. Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills. Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk‑in coolers and all storage areas. Checks for and reports potential hazards or breaches of security plans while in the workplace or in the field. Encourages and supports others to be safe while at work. Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices that could affect individuals served, staff, and other people coming to the organization’s facilities. Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality; monitors documents according to company and HIPAA policies. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Self‑motivated and reliable. Team oriented with an ability to collaborate with all kitchen and management staff. Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment. Candidate must pass a comprehensive background check. Candidate must pass a 10 panel drug screen which includes Marijuana. Compensation range for the Cook role is $22-27 / hr. The range provided is for California based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience.
