Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes. Supervises and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver immediate and effective care to acute patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols.
Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
Proficient in crisis management techniques such as TEAM, CPI, or similar.
Strong critical thinking, rapid assessment, and decision-making skills.
