Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and adhere to the ethical guidelines set forth by relevant professional associations.

• Provide individualized therapy and lead group counseling sessions aimed at addressing and resolving mental health issues faced by clients.

• Regularly participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss treatment planning, case reviews, and share best practices with colleagues.

• Document client progress through detailed notes post-sessions, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping that complies with clinic protocols.

• Engage in additional duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the clinic and its clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population within the community health clinic, serving individuals across varying demographics, including young adults, families, and individuals seeking support for various mental health challenges. Our clients may face issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or adjustment disorders, and as a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping them navigate these struggles and achieve a better quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of one of the following independent licenses: LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• Strong documentation skills with the ability to efficiently complete progress notes after client sessions, ensuring compliance with clinic requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
