Customer Service Representative (Flexible Working Hours)

Job Summary Customer Service Representative at Pet Palace Columbus Airport—responsible for ensuring every client and pet receives VIP‑level service while managing daily front‑desk operations. Location Pet Palace, Columbus Airport. Key Responsibilities Welcoming pet parents and their pets with a friendly, 5‑star resort experience. Answering multi‑line phones, greeting callers with a smile, and handling in‑person, phone, and email inquiries. Touring new clients through the facility and selling our products and services. Verifying up‑to‑date vaccination records and ensuring safety compliance. Managing check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and with personal touch. Handling cash, card payments, and balancing the end‑of‑day cash drawer. Responding to client complaints with patience and professionalism. Escort pet guests to and from enclosures and maintaining a welcoming lobby. Assisting team members as needed and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of customer service or retail experience (preferred). Excellent communication skills—phone, in‑person, and email. Comfortable using multi‑line phone systems and computer software. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations. Strong problem‑solving skills and quick decision making. Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits & Compensation Pay range $12–$14/hour plus tips, DOE.
