Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' mental health and relational issues, identifying specific areas of concern.

• Providing therapy sessions that include working with couples and individuals, tailoring your approach to enhance family dynamics and improve communication.

• Specializing in various family-related concerns, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse

• Grief and loss issues
\n
• Family conflicts and sibling rivalry
\n
• Cut-offs between family members
\n
• Job-related stress
\n
• Medical issues affecting family structures
\n
• Challenges of blended families and remarriage
\n
• Separation and divorce adjustments
\n
• Mother/daughter conflicts
\n
• General communication difficulties within the family
\n
\n
• Developing client treatment plans while tracking progress and adjusting interventions as necessary

• Collaborating with other health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment

• Documenting clinical sessions and maintaining compliance with all state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents facing a multitude of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and valid licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
