Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for new clients within their first day of admission to help formulate a targeted treatment approach.

• Establishing therapeutic rapport with clients during their initial meeting, ensuring they feel welcomed and understood within twenty-four hours of admission.
\n
• Collaboratively developing a Comprehensive Treatment Plan (CTP) and Integrated Treatment Summary within three days of admission, outlining clear, actionable goals tailored to individual client needs.

• Setting weekly treatment goals and writing personalized contracts to keep clients focused and engaged in their recovery process.
\n
• Facilitating individual psychotherapy sessions three times a week for each client, integrating evidence-based practices and feedback methods for optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Leading conjoined family psychotherapy sessions on a weekly basis to promote family involvement and support in the treatment process.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, including professional, multifamily, and alumni groups, to encourage community support and shared learning among clients.
\n
• Interfacing with insurance companies to provide necessary clinical documentation for certification and ongoing care authorization.
\n
• Being readily accessible to clients and their families for individual therapeutic sessions, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve supporting a diverse population of clients, including adults and adolescents dealing with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and other psychological challenges. You will employ culturally sensitive approaches to therapy, adapting your techniques to meet the varied needs of clients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.

• Current licensing as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience in acute care, residential treatment, or closely related settings.

• A comprehensive understanding of therapeutic processes, confidentiality laws, and professional ethics.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $102,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
