Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in General Operating Room procedures. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with the surgical team, and ensure adherence to safety protocols within a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures including General, Ortho, Neuro, GYN/Urology, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeries.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and administer medications as needed.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IVs as part of routine care.
• Participate in the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an OR setting.
• Current NY RN license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; CNOR preferred.
• EPIC charting experience is highly preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
