Make a positive impact every day as a Special Education Teacher working onsite in dedicated Autistic Support classrooms. This contract position spans from ASAP through May 27, 2027, and provides the opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals and PCA support to help each student reach their potential. With structured hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, you’ll have the consistency to plan engaging lessons and ensure individualized attention in a supportive school setting.

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania teaching certificate
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and data-driven instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for making a difference in diverse learners’ lives

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students in Autistic Support classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to address each student's academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service personnel, and families to deliver holistic educational support
• Utilize research-based strategies and modify curriculum as needed
• Foster a positive, productive, and safe classroom environment
• Maintain detailed records and participate in regular team meetings
