Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory assessments, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for reliability, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Aid in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, mentor new employees or interns, and help uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
