Your Role - What You Will Owe

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, in accordance with established safety protocols.
• Ensure results are precise by analyzing data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and conducting routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with patient specimen collection and prepare samples efficiently for analytical procedures.
• Adeptly document all processes, contribute to the training of new staff members or students, and help sustain lab quality excellence.
• Uphold safety and cleanliness in the laboratory while adhering strictly to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Expectations

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
