Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of ER experience License: State RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care Description: The emergency department is seeking an experienced registered nurse. Candidates must have 2+ years of emergency room experience. Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI are required. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. Excellent skills in triage and dysrhythmia interpretation are necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with emergency medications and procedural sedation. Experience with ventilated patients, trauma situations, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care is essential. The staffing ratio is 1:3.5. EPIC documentation experience is preferred. Travelers are welcome to apply. Expected duties include emergency care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
