About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Holding Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. Must have 1 year of travel experience. Oncology experience is preferred, but not required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Must-Have: Proficient in IV starts. Experience with telemetry monitoring. Description: The Emergency Department Holding is designed to meet the urgent and complex needs of patients. It provides emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The patient ratio in this unit is typically 1:4. Candidates must have current acute care experience and have worked consistently in the last 12 months. Candidates will be responsible for various nursing duties in a critical setting. Travelers must comply with credentialing requirements and complete all necessary processes promptly. References from previous supervisors are required. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
