Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be 21 years of age or older Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
