Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic injuries, identifying their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical evidence, patient preferences, and best practices in physical therapy.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that support long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and cohesive patient care, sharing valuable insights and strategies.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation, integrating new techniques and tools into your practice to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, such as fractures, joint replacements, tendonitis, and sports injuries. Our diverse clientele ranges from professional athletes seeking optimal performance recovery to seniors aiming for improved mobility and pain management. Your role as a physical therapist will not only focus on their immediate rehabilitation needs but also on helping them re-engage in the activities they love.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Summit Physical Therapy Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
