- Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical and occupational therapists, medical professionals, aides, and families to develop unified care plans.
- Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond the therapy setting.
- Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and therapies to ensure a smooth transition in care throughout the treatment process.
- Provide thorough and prompt documentation that meets state, federal, and facility standards.
- Engage in ongoing education to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology and collaborate with peers for shared growth.
Qualifications

Essential Skills
- Strong foundation in evidence-based assessment and treatment across all age groups, with an emphasis on both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adeptness in customizing therapy approaches to accommodate diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Solid clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation compliance.
Perks and Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Flexible scheduling to promote work-life harmony and a diverse caseload.
