Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a solid understanding of their mental health needs.

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals, preferences, and mental health requirements.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster positive change and progress in clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote ongoing mental health wellness.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients facing multifaceted challenges.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, employing new strategies to enhance client care.

• Maintain complete and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Urban Renewal Center, you'll work primarily with individuals dealing with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable communities such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will be pivotal in providing culturally sensitive care and support tailored to each individual's unique circumstances and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• An attractive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
