This position is part of the VBA MDE (Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disabilities Examinations) program.

- Start date: ASAP Pending Training & Credentialing \n
- Schedule: Part Time, M-F \n
- C&P exams (Compensation and Pension exams); No treatment and no prescribing involved \n
- Gain valuable professional experience and work closely with America’s heroes \n
\n
Your Daily Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams related to a Veteran's disability claim for Audiology. \n
- Exams are a comprehensive audio exam for assessing hearing loss or tinnitus. \n
- Common testing includes Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing and speech recognition. \n
- All equipment necessary to perform duties will be available on-site with custom soundproof booths. \n
\n
What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:
\n- \n
- Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D) \n
- Doctorate degree from a university accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA Certification \n
- Audiologist with licensure in good standing \n
- Preferred prior experience in clinical settings and experience assessing Veterans \n
