Security Officer Patrol Representative

Position Details Security Officer Patrol Representative in Sunnyvale, TX Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor foot traffic, observe for suspicious behavior, and report concerns involving theft‑related activity, policy violations, and/or access issues according to site guidelines. Support closing and opening routines, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and provide visible presence throughout the location during varying business hours and conditions. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
