Job Opportunity – Neonatal Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Virginia

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Part-time, 5 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation required (primarily night shift). Must be available for weekend coverage.

Highlights:

• 64-bed Level IV NICU with advanced neonatal care capabilities
• Patient load: 8 mixed acuity patients on day shift, 20-30 patients on night shift
• Comprehensive procedure exposure including ECMO support, intubation, line placement, lumbar puncture, ventilator management, PICC, UAC, and UVC
• Epic EMR system
• 13-week contract with option to extend
• Autonomous practice environment with high-risk delivery experience

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Neonatology required
• Minimum 2 years of neonatal-specific training and experience
• Level IV NICU experience within the past year required
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• High-risk deliveries experience required
• Virginia state license (or eligibility; credentialing timeframe 45-60 days)
• Active DEA and CSR required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA certification required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
