Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vatica, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress or changes in circumstances.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create effective discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for clients, ensuring continuity of care.

• Providing supportive interventions, including crisis management and bereavement counseling, to individuals and their families.

• Regularly referring clients to community resources, treatment programs, and support networks that enhance their well-being.

• Maintaining compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, while acting within the legal scope of practice.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment progress meticulously within a unified app designed for seamless case management and communication.

• Advocating for patients and families to promote understanding and effective communication with care teams and external agencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily serve a diverse array of clients seeking mental health services, which may include those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges. You will work primarily with adult populations, using your skills to foster resilience and emotional well-being among clients from varied backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Strong familiarity with community mental health resources to enhance client support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
