Clinicians have full autonomy over their schedules and can manage caseloads ranging from 10 to 30 billable hours per week. Our administrative team handles the logistical aspects of practice, enabling our therapists to focus solely on client care. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Focus Counseling Support Services, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations and providing short-term psychotherapy tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Implementing case management strategies, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention, brief therapy, and supportive therapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
\n
• Engaging in collaborative consultations with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive treatment planning.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date therapy records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Participating in regular clinical team meetings to discuss treatment outcomes, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.
\n
• Acting as a consultant within the clinical team, facilitating discussions around complex cases and assisting with interdisciplinary care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and dual disorders. We utilize a person-centered approach, ensuring that each client's cultural and social context is woven into the therapeutic process. By providing care through telehealth platforms, we have expanded our reach, allowing greater access to services for those who may have barriers to traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid LMFT license to practice in the state of New York.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited university.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are required, candidates with the following experiences may have an added advantage:

Compensation and Benefits\n
