Job Summary and Qualifications

In the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be the key decision-maker for clinical and managerial operations during your shift. As a Registered Nurse, you may also take on patient care responsibilities as necessary. Discover the potential in your nursing career by becoming part of a team that treats each other like family.

• You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, tailor, and provide high-quality, patient-focused care.

• Your role will involve ongoing evaluation of nursing care quality and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.

• You will take on leadership duties within the unit, supporting the RN manager/director, which includes supervising staff, providing education and coaching, managing payroll, conducting annual performance reviews, and recognizing employee achievements.

• Your responsibilities may rotate among several core areas, including:

• Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Preparedness

• Patient Experience

• Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, and Culture

• Fiscal Responsibility, including scheduling, overtime management, and supply oversight

• Staff Development, encompassing education, clinical competencies, and support for Graduate Nurse Residency/Preceptor programs

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.

• Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.

• Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Associate Degree is required.

• No travel is required for this position.

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Our facility is a 200+ bed acute-care center situated north of Austin, Texas.
