Job Summary and QualificationsIn the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be the key decision-maker for clinical and managerial operations during your shift. As a Registered Nurse, you may also take on patient care responsibilities as necessary. Discover the potential in your nursing career by becoming part of a team that treats each other like family.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, tailor, and provide high-quality, patient-focused care.
Your role will involve ongoing evaluation of nursing care quality and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
You will take on leadership duties within the unit, supporting the RN manager/director, which includes supervising staff, providing education and coaching, managing payroll, conducting annual performance reviews, and recognizing employee achievements.
Your responsibilities may rotate among several core areas, including:
Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Preparedness
Patient Experience
Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, and Culture
Fiscal Responsibility, including scheduling, overtime management, and supply oversight
Staff Development, encompassing education, clinical competencies, and support for Graduate Nurse Residency/Preceptor programs
Qualifications Required:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.
Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Associate Degree is required.
No travel is required for this position.
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Our facility is a 200+ bed acute-care center situated north of Austin, Texas. This comprehensive medical center boasts the only hybrid operating room in the county , a 24-hour emergency department with a Level II trauma center , and advanced cardiac care through our Heart Hospital. Patients can also access rehabilitation services, women’s health, cancer care, neurology, joint replacement, and orthotics at this location.
