Roberts Resorts & Communities owns and operates manufactured home, RV, and cabin communities across the country. We're looking for a Controller who can make sense of a fast-moving environment, build structure where needed, and lead a talented accounting team through the next phase of growth. What You Own: You own the accounting function. Financial reporting. Month-end close. Multi-entity accounting. Internal controls. Cash visibility. Process improvement. You also own the team. You'll lead experienced accountants, accounts payable, and treasury professionals while helping build the organization for future growth. You'll partner directly with the CFO, CEO, COO, and executive team to provide the financial insights needed to make better decisions. When something is unclear, inefficient, or broken, you don't work around it. What Your Weeks Look Like Leading and developing a high-performing accounting team Driving accurate and timely financial reporting Improving processes, controls, and reporting visibility Partnering with operations leaders across the portfolio Evaluating systems and automation opportunities Solving problems before they become bigger problems Helping prepare the company for its next stage of growth This is a hands-on leadership role. You lead from the front. What Winning Looks Like: Accurate financials delivered on time Strong internal controls Scalable accounting processes High-performing teams Better visibility into business performance Leadership confidence in the numbers The Person This Fits: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge Experience in multi-entity, real estate, hospitality, or similarly complex environments Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity CPA preferred This Is Not For You If You prefer maintaining systems instead of building them You need every process already mapped out You're not committed to a long-term leadership career That isn't a criticism.
