Immigration Attorney

We're hiring an immigration attorney to join Francis Law Center.

Our clients trust us with some of the most important moments of their lives — reuniting with a spouse, securing humanitarian protection, building a future in the U.S. We need an attorney who takes that responsibility personally and drives cases forward, not just processes them.

What you'll do:

• Manage a caseload of family-based and humanitarian immigration matters as your primary responsibility

• Lead family visa cases (I-130, I-485, I-751, K-1, consular processing, interview prep and attendance)

• Lead humanitarian visa cases (VAWA, U-visa, T-visa, SIJS, asylum, TPS)

• Support removal defense — motions, EOIR filings, pre-hearing materials, second-chair appearances

• Conduct intake consultations — assess eligibility, recommend the right path, convert qualified leads

• Represent the firm in the community — workshops, consulates, nonprofits, AILA/bar events, referral partners

• Counsel clients directly in English or Spanish

• Supervise and quality-check paralegal work before filing

What you bring:

• Active U.S. bar admission in good standing (any state or territory — federal practice)

• Family-based experience (I-130, I-485, I-751, K-1, consular)

• Humanitarian relief experience (VAWA, U-visa, T-visa, SIJS, asylum, TPS)

• Familiarity with removal defense and EOIR processes

• Comfortable with intake work and community outreach

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

• Track record of independent case ownership and reliable deadlines
