Investment Funds Attorney

Help shape legal AI systems by applying investment funds and corporate transactional experience to realistic contract-review work. You will evaluate how AI interprets legal language, identifies risk, and performs in drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining scenarios.

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves precision and performance.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for rigorous, consistent assessment of AI contract work.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract-review solutions.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Experience with contract redlining, contract negotiation, fund formation, and fund management.
• Familiarity with M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and ISDAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems and work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Work is completed on a task basis. Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task.

Advertised compensation is $90 to $130 per hour. Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications, and the effective hourly rate depends on the number of tasks completed and successfully approved.
