Role Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages, encompassing pediatric to geriatric health. Proactively manage chronic conditions, preventive care, urgent health issues, and mental health challenges with a dedicated patient-first approach. Perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic findings, and devise customized treatment strategies. Work collaboratively with care coordinators, specialists, and behavioral health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Engage in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure accurate patient documentation and tracking. Offer both in-person and virtual care to meet diverse patient preferences and needs. Education Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical institution. Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Certifications Board Certification in Family Medicine. Must hold (or be eligible for) an active Virginia medical license. BLS and ACLS certifications are highly desirable.
