About the Team As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Presales team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business. About the Role In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Workday customers and prospects, crafting the overall solution strategy to achieve their business objectives. With expertise working with companies in the Professional Services industry and a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS solutions, you will establish yourself as a leader with a valued point of view. Responsibilities Leading strategic, complex platform opportunities, including architecting technology solution strategies that achieve customer objectives. Identifying and analyzing key systems, dependencies, and integration points within the overall solution landscape, and developing solution maps. Providing expert guidance to sales and deal teams on how to differentiate with Workday technology. Collaborating across functional groups (Value Management, Services, Customer Success Management) to create customer experiences that build long‑term, sustainable relationships. About You The ideal candidate has strong consulting experience in business applications and a deep understanding of the Professional Services industry. You are adept at translating business needs into technology solutions, and your exceptional communication and relationship building skills enable you to engage effectively with C-level executives. Basic Qualifications Senior Enterprise Architect 5+ years Enterprise Software Solution Consulting experience or hands‑on experience supporting enterprise software applications. 3+ years delivering compelling presentations both in person and virtual meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts and strategic initiatives. 3+ years applied working knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards. Enterprise Architect 3+ years Enterprise Software Solution Consulting experience or hands‑on experience supporting enterprise software applications. 2+ years delivering compelling presentations both in person and virtual meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts and strategic initiatives. 2+ years applied working knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards. Additional Qualifications Bringing a point of view and influencing decision making. Multi‑pillar solution and product knowledge. Executive presence and relationship building. Collaborative and team oriented. Innovative and adaptable. Exceptional consultative selling skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and communicating value to drive satisfaction and revenue growth. Strong value‑selling skills, including objection handling and effective communication of value propositions. Strong product demonstration skills, with the ability to showcase product features and benefits through engaging presentations and interactive demonstrations. Able and willing to travel up to 40% across the USA. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Base pay ranges: Primary Location (USA.NY.Home Office) – $138,600 USD to $208,000 USD. Additional US locations – $138,600 USD to $208,000 USD. Additional considerations: If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $138,600 USD to $208,000 USD. Eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Factors that influence final compensation include geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
