About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy, planning, and operations. The CFO will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, overseeing financial reports, audits, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role involves close collaboration with the executive team to make strategic financial decisions and requires a candidate with a strong background in finance and management, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. The CFO will also be tasked with maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, including the board, financial partners, and public officials. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a B.S. in business management, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a CFO role, or equivalent, is required, with a preference for those with over 10 years' experience, particularly in a budget of $75M or more. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, including experience in nonprofit accounting, and the ability to supervise and ensure high-quality financial programs and services. Key qualifications include the ability to analyze business reports, make strategic financial recommendations, and manage relationships with financial institutions.
