Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with nutritional risk or special needs
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and reassessments, and document findings
- Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition plans of care in alignment with policy and standards
- Educate patients and families on nutrition interventions, goals, and discharge planning
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate nutrition care
- Ensure all interventions are documented in the patient record per policy and professional standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian (Clinical) license or eligibility to practice in California
- Registered Dietitian credential (RD) required
- Clinical dietetics experience preferred; inpatient/acute care experience highly valued
- Strong assessment, care-planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient care setting and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field; completion of an accredited RD program
