Job Opportunity Our client is a global leader in the industry looking to expand the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to work overtime as required. Perform monthly close and reconciliation of general ledgers. Assist in the monthly close process and analyze financial results for multiple real estate development projects. Prepare monthly budgets, draws to the lender, and internal requests. Coordinate financial activities and projects across multiple real estate development projects. Perform monthly close and reconciliation of general ledgers. Assist in preparing the year-end package for auditors to assist in issuing annual financial and tax statements. Education and qualifications: CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA. Bachelor's degree in accounting (required). Master's degree in accounting, finance, or other business disciplines. Skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Five (5)+ years of experience working as an accountant in either public accounting or with a private real estate company. Experience in preparing and posting general ledger journal entries. Experience in technical accounting research, preparing financial statements, and related disclosures. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word & Excel and Outlook and financial systems experience. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
