Litigation Partner / Counsel – Product Liability Location: Washington, DC, US Posted: 05-23-2026 Experience: Senior Level Salary: $250,000 - $400,000 per year Job Description We are seeking a Litigation Partner or Counsel to join our product liability and mass tort practice in Washington, DC. This role is focused on high‑stakes, complex litigation involving scientific, medical, and technical issues, often across multiple jurisdictions. We are looking for someone who can step into ongoing matters and contribute immediately to case strategy, discovery, expert development, and trial preparation. This is a hands‑on role working closely with experienced trial teams on large‑scale product liability and mass tort matters. Responsibilities Support and manage complex product liability and mass tort litigation, including multi‑jurisdictional matters Contribute to MDL proceedings, including strategy, discovery, and coordination across cases Lead and manage fact and expert discovery, including depositions and case development Work closely with expert witnesses on scientific and causation issues, including preparation for admissibility challenges Participate in trial preparation and trial teams in high‑exposure matters Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and expert‑related motions Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop litigation strategy across multiple matters Qualifications Significant experience handling complex litigation matters at a law firm or comparable platform Background in product liability, mass tort, or other multi‑party litigation strongly preferred Experience with MDL proceedings and/or coordinated litigation Strong experience working with expert witnesses and scientific or technical issues Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively across teams Requirements Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (DC admission or ability to waive in preferred) Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes litigation environment Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively About the Firm We are a litigation‑focused law firm built to handle complex, high‑risk matters for sophisticated organizations.
