Sr Statistical Advisor

This senior-level role advises disease area leaders on statistical strategy and complex methodological challenges across therapeutic programs. The position drives innovations in trial design and adaptive methods, mentors junior biostatisticians, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a recognized expert with a strong publication record in statistics.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and drive transformative statistics innovations across therapeutic areas
- Serve as trusted advisor to Disease Area Leads on complex methodological challenges
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and guide junior biostatisticians
- Develop innovative trial designs, simulations, and adaptive trial software tools
- Present and publish new statistical methodology within and outside the company
Requirements
- PhD in Biostatistics or related field
- 12+ years pharma, device, diagnostics, or academic clinical trial experience
- Expertise in state-of-the-art statistical methods for drug development
- Proficiency in R or SAS programming and software development
- Demonstrated scientific publications and complex portfolio support
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $261,375 - $338,250 base
