Location: Hatfield, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to join our team in Hatfield, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional looking to grow their career with a stable and expanding manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate will have prior purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to source quality materials while controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Source suppliers based on price, quality, availability, necessity, and overall logistical costs
• Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of materials
• Coordinate logistics and track incoming orders to ensure on-time deliveries
• Receive purchased materials into inventory and update inventory tracking systems
• Monitor inventory levels and work proactively to prevent shortages

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Purchasing role within a manufacturing environment required
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience sourcing and evaluating suppliers
• Ability to analyze pricing, quality, and logistical considerations when making purchasing decisions
• Experience with inventory management systems and purchasing software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
