Make a difference supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a dynamic PreK environment. This contract opportunity runs from early October through March, offering a schedule of 32.5 hours per week. In this role, you'll split your time between two schools, collaborating within a team-based, play-focused evaluation model and serving four PreK classrooms. Experience with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment is highly valued, as you'll conduct engaging, comprehensive assessments with children ages 3 to 5. Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active IL SLP License (State of Illinois) is mandatory
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required for school-based practice in Illinois
• Previous experience providing SL therapy to PreK (ages 3-5) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessments is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite across two locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to PreK students (ages 3-5) in small group and individual settings
• Conduct and participate in team-based evaluations, including play-based assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs and team input
• Collaborate closely with educators, other therapists, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and stay current with district/state compliance requirements
