Executive Assistant / Office Manager

Position Summary The Executive Assistant/Office Manager is responsible for providing executive support to the Texas-based investment team of Moneta Ventures, primarily supporting a Managing Partner. The role is multi-faceted and requires a highly organized, independent, professional, technically competent, and excellent communicator. It is ideal for someone with experience working closely with senior-level executives, helping manage and prioritize the Managing Partner's daily schedule and supporting other Austin-based team members. The role operates primarily out of our downtown Austin office, with occasional remote days as needed. It is scheduled during typical business hours; very occasional after-hours work may be required. The position offers opportunities for advancement within the company, with a clear path to a Head of Platform role for the right candidate. About Moneta Ventures Moneta Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund focused on backing leading enterprise technology companies. We are high-conviction investors who lead or co-lead transactions from Seed through Series B stages. Founded by serial entrepreneurs, we leverage our expertise to work closely with portfolio companies across business development, marketing, finance, and strategy. Our firm has offices in Austin, Texas, and Sacramento, California. Role Responsibilities Work closely with the Managing Partner and other members of the Austin-based team to prioritize workload and move projects forward efficiently Coordinate the calendars of the Managing Partner and other investment team members for meeting scheduling and travel logistics Lead event planning and marketing/PR initiatives Assist in expense management for the investment team Prepare materials for and coordinate the team's participation in conferences Manage the office space Assist with hiring and onboarding as needed Qualifications 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in finance, technology, or legal industries Experience managing the inbox and calendaring for an executive or executives Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Zoom Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent writing and grammatical skills High levels of professionalism, discretion, organization, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Nice-to-Have Experience in event planning and/or marketing Experience with hiring and interviewing Proficiency with AI tools and a genuine interest in integrating them into executive workflows Desire to stay in Austin long-term Compensation: $65,000–$110,000+ annually depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
