Insight Global is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a busy outpatient cardiology practice. This person will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, scheduling appointments, handling incoming calls, verifying insurance information, and supporting overall front office operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong customer service and organizational skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of front desk, medical reception, or patient access experience
- Cardiology or specialty clinic experience
- Experience answering high-volume phone calls
- Knowledge on insurance
- High volume scheduling and appointment management experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience working with EHR systems
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Phreesia
- Insurance verification experience
- Experience collecting copays or patient payments
