Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license in the state of Michigan (required)
- Previous experience working with middle and high school-aged students preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners
- Open to both local and travel professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 7th-12th grade students, supporting their academic and social-emotional growth
- Design and deliver instructional activities that align with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
