We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join a busy ophthalmology practice in Plantation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of medical billing experience, with a strong understanding of ophthalmology and surgical billing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of medical billing experience in a medical practice
• Experience with ophthalmology billing preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, and surgical claims processing
• Familiarity with insurance authorizations, referrals, and eligibility verification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
