Reinsurance Consultant

Providing strategic and operational leadership for the assumed reinsurance portfolio, the full-time Consultant, Assumed Portfolio Enablement will negotiate and execute reinsurance arrangements, ensuring compliance and operational excellence while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Drives the design, evaluation, and negotiation of assumed reinsurance contracts Leads contract review meetings with cross-functional teams and external partners Researches and analyzes complex regulatory, contractual, and operational issues related to reinsurance Required qualifications: Undergraduate studies in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred Eight or more years of experience in reinsurance, insurance, or related risk transfer roles Pursuit or attainment of insurance-related designations such as CPCU, CLU, ARM, ARe preferred Strong understanding of reinsurance contract language and negotiation Project management experience is preferred
